***LATEST NEWS: Join this Community Researchers programme, deadline for entries 27 July 2025.***
Here at Southampton Collective, we are keen to see communities at the heart of all conversations about Southampton's future and people's lives here in the city. We want to make sure that all decisions and services are reflecting the lived experience of residents and those most impacted.
Between Autumn 2024 and March 2025, we worked with Southampton Voluntary Services to help them deliver Southampton Coproduction Corner. This continued the work that our Director Rebecca was doing previously as project coordinator Sept 2023 til July 2024.
One of the recommendations from the Making Coproduction Meaingful work, was that there should be more focus on supporting people to run and host community conversations. We are now working with University of Southampton to help deliver some training sessions on Hosting Public Engagement Conversations.
